Twisted Columns
Gentle columns of twists make a great pattern for bags and
other accessories where you want to add vertical lines.
Ch a multiple of 6 sts plus 2.
Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hk and ea ch across, turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in ea st across, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in 1st 2 sc, *sk next 2 sc, FPdc in next sc 2
rows below, sc in 2nd skipped sc, FPdc in 1st skipped sc 2
rows below behind prev post st, sc in next 3 sc; rep from *
across, ending sc in last 2 sc, turn.
Row 4: Rep row 2.

Woven Stitch.
Alternating post stitches creates a woven-like fabric that is
thick and soft. This makes great hats and slippers.
Ch an even number of sts.
