Ch a multiple of 6 sts plus 3.

Row 1 (RS): Sh in 6th ch from hk, *sk 2 ch, dc in next ch, sk 2

ch, sh in next ch; rep from * across to last 3 ch, sk 2 ch, dc in

last ch, turn.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), *sh in ch-2 sp of next sh, BPdc

around next dc; rep from * across to t-ch, dc in top of t-ch, turn.
