Jumping Shells
This lace separates shells by a row, scattering them all
throughout the fabric as if they jumped there.
Ch a multiple of 9 sts plus 6.
Row 1 (RS): Sc in 7th ch from hk (sk ch counts as dc,
ch-1 sp), sk 2 ch, 5 dc in next ch, sk 2 ch, sc in next ch,
ch 3, sk 2 ch, sc in next ch; rep from across to last 8
ch, sk 2 ch, 5 dc in next ch, sk 2 ch, sc in next ch, ch 1,
sk 1 ch, dc in last ch, turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in dc, sk sc, dc in next 2 dc, ch 3, sc in
next dc, ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, sk sc, sc in ch-3 sp; rep
from across, ending sc in top of t-ch, turn.
