Clover Lattice
By combining clusters and shells, this pattern results in a little
clover. This fabric is bold and eye-catching in any shawl project.
Ch a multiple of 8 sts plus 2.
Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hk, ch 4, sk 3 ch, 4 dc-cl in next
ch, ch 4, sk 3 ch, [sc, ch 1, sc] in next ch; rep from across, sc
in last ch, turn.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in 1st sc, ch 2, sc in 4 dc-cl,
ch 2, 6 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 2; rep from across to last 4 dc-cl,
sc in last 4 dc-cl, ch 2, 3 dc in last sc, turn.
Row 3: Ch 7 (counts as dc and ch-4 sp), [sc, ch 1, sc] in
next sc, ch 4, 4 dc-cl between 3rd and 4th dc, ch 4; rep
from across to last sc, [sc, ch 1, sc] in last sc, ch 4, dc in
top of t-ch, turn.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in dc, ch 2, 6 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 2, sc
in 4 dc-cl; rep from across, sc in 3rd ch of t-ch, turn.
