First, openControl Panel and then click
User.Click Create and follow the wizard
through to create users, and select which
other shared folders they have accessto.
Repeat for all the users you have.

FOLDERS
As well as individualprivate folders thatare
created per user, you can also have team
folders thatare sharedbetween everyone.
We found it best to create anew folder for
this purpose, although you can use any
existing shared folders, provided thepeople
whowant to use SynologyDrive Server have
accesspermissions. Here, we’llshow you
how to create anew folder fromscratch.
Go to theControl Panel and select
Shared Folder,then clickCreate. Giveyour
folderaname (we picked Te am) andclick
Next. Follow thewizardthrough to create
the folder,and then you’ll come to the
Permissions screen. Here, you should give
users that will useSynologyDrive access
to the folder.The permissionsthatyou set
herewillbeapplied in SynologyDrive, too;
for example, if you give auserread-only
permission, they canviewfilesinthe
Te amfolderbut they can’t add to it.
Unless you have good reason to do
otherwise,giveall users that need it read/
writepermission, and click OK.
Yo unow need to open up Synology Drive
Admin Console fromthe menu andclick
Te amFolder.Here, you’ll seethatMyDrive
already has Enabled next to it:leave this
alone,asthis setting is the one thatletseach
user have their own home folder.
Instead, select the folder thatyou
created aboveinthe list and click Enable.
