than a day and expects more
developers to get on board
in “the coming weeks.”
Assistant will also begin
suggesting relevant App
Actions even when the user
doesn’t ask for the app by
name. So if you ask
Assistant about Taylor Swift,
for example, your phone
will “highlight a suggestionchip that will guide the user to open up the
search result in Twitter.”
In addition to the new functionality, Google
also announced new English voices for
Assistant that “take advantage of an improved
prosody model to make Assistant sound more
natural,” as well as new educational
experiences to augment at-home learning.App Actions lets you access your favorite apps using voice commands.
