rain, some heavy across the Ohio Valley.
Showers will precede the cold front, and
snow is expected to fall in northern Michi-
gan, Wisconsin and Minneapolis.
On the southern end of this front, in
Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas, conditions
will turn cooler throughout the day. In the
Northwest, another storm system will
bring rain to the coast and snow in the
higher elevations. The rest of the country
will be dry, except for some afternoon
showers in eastern Florida.
The Southeast will be warm and will
become more humid. The Four Corners
region is expected to turn warmer as high
pressure takes control and brings fair
weather south of Wyoming.
A mostly cloudy sky will develop as a cold
front swings over the mountains. Intervals
of rain, some heavy, are expected over
the Adirondacks and the Alleghenies, with
lighter showers over the Blue Ridge
Mountains. Strong afternoon wind gusts
are expected over the Northeast. Turning
clear and chilly overnight.
