Andy was fi rst encouraged to pick up a camera by his father (who, he says, is still taking
ood pictures at the age of 82). He spends a lot of time shooting fl ower macros, and is
as passionate about producing prints as he is about taking the photos themselves. He
also appreciates some of the features we’ve recently published in AP. ‘As a long-term
sufferer of depression, I can relate to the letters I’ve read in your publication from
otherssoafflicted. Photography has proven to be hugely therapeutic and a great mood lifter.’
