Bonpoint celebrates its 40
th
anniversary

on the Champs-Élysées

To mark its 40thanniversary, until September Bonpoint will occupy a pop-up store on the
Champs-Élysées in a large 195 sq.m. streamlined designer space with a New York loft vibe.
Visitors to this prestigiously located store dedicated to children’s high-end ready-to-wear
clothes are greeted by a surprising life-size white tree. Further inside, unassuming light
floors and white walls provide a fitting backdrop for the pastel-colored clothes designed
by creative director Christine Innamorato, for children aged naught to early teens, and even
beyond, with the Yam range for girls. This pop-up store is a showcase for the Bonpoint
range, which includes shoes and hats, perfumes, care products, jewelry and birth gifts.
Pop-up store Bonpoint, until September 30. 114, avenue des Champs-Élysées, 8th.

ART
Heroines of the
Carré Rive Gauche
The one hundred antique dealers
and art gallery owners from the
Carré Rive Gauche group have
chosen “women” as their far-
reaching theme this year. On quai
Voltaire, rue des Saints-Pères, rue
de l’Université, rue du Bac, rue
de Beaune, rue de Verneuil and
rue de Lille, the female of our
species will be given pride of
place as inspiringly beautiful,
mysterious, sensual and motherly,
or as designers. The stores and
galleries will explore a variety of
fields, with every period (from
antiquity to the present day) and
media (from painting to sculpture,
photograph, ceramics, textiles,
furniture and timepieces) covered.
This event, which is part of
“Seven days in Paris”, is included
in the D’Days, La Nocturne Rive
Droite and Art Saint-Germain-
des-Prés festivals.
May 31 until June 4.

GOURMET DELIGHTS
The Whisky Shop
has arrived in Paris!
The Whisky Shop is a well-known store in Scotland
and England. Now the brand has branched out to
the continent, with the place de la Madeleine as
its port of call. Its Paris store has charmed us with a
selection of 300 different types of classic, modern
and collector whiskeys. Dedicated to the king
of British alcoholic beverages, this temple to the
golden nectar has two unusual “chapels”. One,
The Angel's Room, is a pop-up store dedicated
to a different brand every month. The other is a
Johnnie Walker House located in a large upper-floor
lounge, where you can find limited and collector
editions, including Johnnie Walker Blue Label Paris,
with the option of having your bottle engraved for
free. But remember - always drink in moderation!
The Whisky Shop Paris. 7, place de la Madeleine, 8th.
Monday to Saturday 11am to 8pm.
Sunday noon to 6pm. http://www.whiskyshop.fr.
