CUT FABRICS
Cut pieces in the following order.
Designer Melissa Corry prefers
to make her triangle-squares larger
than necessary and trim them to size
after piecing. To use this method, cut
4" squares instead of the 3^7 ⁄ 8 " squares
specified here.
From each assorted print fabric, cut:
▫ 4—3^7 ⁄ 8 " squares
▫ 1—3^1 ⁄ 2 " square
▫ 2—2×15" strips
From white print, cut:
▫ 16—3^7 ⁄ 8 " squares
▫ 32—3^1 ⁄ 2 × 61 ⁄ 2 " rectangles
▫ 32—3^1 ⁄ 2 " squares
▫ 40—2^1 ⁄ 2 × 151 ⁄ 2 " sashing strips
From black-and-white print, cut:
▫ 8—2^1 ⁄ 2 ×42" binding strips
▫ 16—3^7 ⁄ 8 " squares
From black-and-white stripe, cut:
▫ 25—2^1 ⁄ 2 " sashing squares
