ASSEMBLE QUILT TOP

1. Referring to Quilt Assembly
   Diagram, lay out blocks, white print
   21 ⁄ 2 × 151 ⁄ 2 " sashing strips, and black-
   and-white stripe 2^1 ⁄ 2 " sashing squares
   in nine rows. Orient blocks as shown.
   2. Sew together pieces in rows. Join
   rows to complete quilt top. Press seams
   in one direction, alternating direction
   with each row.

FINISH QUILT

1. Layer quilt top, batting, and backing;
   baste. (For details, see Complete Quilt,
   page 103.)
