- Referring to Diagram 6, join one
solid white 1^1 ⁄ 2 × 8 1 ⁄ 2 rectangle and one
each of units A-G to make Quadrant 1.
The quadrant should be 8^1 ⁄ 2 " square
including seam allowances. Repeat to
make 32 total of Quadrant 1.
- Referring to Diagram 7, join
one each of units H-N and one
solid white 1^1 ⁄ 2 × 8 1 ⁄ 2 rectangle to
make Quadrant 2. The quadrant
should be 8^1 ⁄ 2 " square including
seam allowances. Repeat to make
32 total of Quadrant 2.
3. Referring to Diagram 8, lay out
two of each quadrant, two solid
white 1^1 ⁄ 2 × 8 1 ⁄ 2 " rectangles, and a
solid white 1^1 ⁄ 2 × 17 1 ⁄ 2 " strip in three
rows. Join pieces in top and bottom
rows. Join rows to make a block. The
block should be 17^1 ⁄ 2 " square including
seam allowances. Repeat to make 16
blocks total.
