Make 2 pompoms: 1 in Rose Pink, and 1 in
Yellow. Leave a long tail of yarn when you tie
the pompom and use to secure to the zip tab.
Fold lining fabric in half RS together to form a
rectangle approx 19x29cm. Sew a 1cm seam
down each side. Fold down a 1cm edge to the
WS around top, insert into Bag and sew in place.

ABBREVIATIONS

French knot Thread yarn onto needle, secure

on WS, bring needle up through fabric to RS,

hold yarn taut and wrap around needle 3 times,

insert needle back through fabric close to

where it came through and secure yarn on WS

NOTES

Dc stitches are worked on the choker cable to

cover, then Large and Medium Discs are sewn

to the centre with 3 Small Discs either side.

NECKLACE

SMALL DISCS (MAKE 6)

Make 2 in each colour.

Using a 4mm hook, make a magic loop.

Round 1 (RS) Ch1 (does not count as st

throughout), 7dc into loop, ss to top of beg dc.

[7 sts]

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Make 5 French knots around each Small Disc,

using Rose Pink on the White Discs, Black on

the Rose Pink Discs and White on the Black

Discs.

MEDIUM DISC

Using White, make a magic loop.

Round 1 (RS) Ch1, 8dc into loop, ss to top of

beg dc. [8 sts]

Change to Black.

Round 2 Ch1, 2dc into each st around, ss to top

of beg dc. [16 sts]

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Using Rose Pink, make 8 French knots, 1

between each 2-dc group from Round 2.

LARGE DISC

Using Black, make a magic loop.

Round 1 (RS) Ch1, 7dc into loop, ss to top of

beg dc. [7 sts]

Change to White.

Round 2 Ch1, 2dc into each st around, ss to top

of beg dc. [14 sts]

Change to Rose Pink.

Round 3 Ch1, (2dc in next st, dc in next st) 7

times, ss to top of beg dc. [21 sts]

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Using Black, make 7 French knots, 1 between

each 2-dc group from Round 2.

Using White, work a round of slip st surface

crochet around the sts of Round 3. You can use

the image as a guide.

TO MAKE UP

Join Black to the wire necklace cord and dc

around the cord so it is completely covered.

Sew the Large Disc to the middle of the

Necklace, then sew the Medium Disc to the

bottom of the Large Disc. Sew 3 Small Discs

either side of the Large Disc. You can use the

image as a guide.
