Division Squares
Materials: Division Squares board, division cards, calculator Number of Players: 2
- Shuffle the division cards and place them facedown in a pile. Player 1 turns
over the top card in the pile, reads the problem aloud and names the
quotient. - Player 2 checks the answer (a calculator may be used). If the answer is
correct, Player 1 may draw one line segment on the board to connect two
dots. - Player 2 turns over a card, reads the problem aloud and names the quotient.
Player 1 checks the answer. - Players continue to take turns. A player who draws a line segment to
complete a square writes his or her initials inside it. The player may then
draw one extra line segment on the board. - At the end of the playing time, players calculate their scores. Each box with
initials is worth 1 point. The player with the most points wins the game.
