The function of
flowersMany flowers are beautiful and are used to celebrate important
events. But as far as plants are concerned, flowers are used for one
purpose: sexual reproduction. Figure 14.20 shows just a few types
of flowers. Despite their diversity, most flowers have the parts
shown in the diagram below.
