THE PERIODIC TABLE
When you sit down to take the SAT Chemistry Subject Test, you will be
provided with a periodic table. On the periodic table, the vertical columns are
called groups, and the horizontal rows are called periods. The symbols (such as
H, Li, Be, etc.) represent elements.
