Capital income generated from land-use forms
Figure 3 relates to capital income received from
different land uses. The results show that 42% of
capital income generated is due to breeding (high-
value and plains game). Breeding was incorporated
into land use by the highest number of interviewees
and had the highest average income. Second in line
is hunting, which accounts for 30% of capital income,
followed by mixed-farming with 18%. Ecotourism was
responsible for 7% of the capital generated, while by-
products provided 3% of capital income.
