6. Standard Industrial PCs can also be used with the wide range of PCI
modules manufactured by National Instruments. These plug-in boards
include hardware designed for analog and digital I/O, motion control,
and machine vision. LabVIEW Real-Time can be loaded on most
standard Industrial PCs to provide a low-cost platform for industrial
measurement and control [ 81 ], [ 82 ].
