Aggregating signals as a string, converting them to an UDP data packet,
and sending them to the server over a wire or wireless LAN by UDP
connection.
Receiving commands and control packet from the PCs.
The Second: The Receiver Program (Server Program):
Receiving data packets from the sender program.
Displaying the sensor reading.
Performing a decision about the data, and then sending back a control
packet to the sender node.
If the sender receives the control packet it will perform control actions;
example: if the temperature reaches threshold, the substation should be
OFF.
4.4.3 The Sender (substation) and The Receiver(server) Programs in
LabVIEW:
The sender and receiver programs are discussed briefly with
both their corresponding Front and Block panels.
a. The Sender Program
This program sends feeders reading of a substation periodically
(every 30 sec) to a receiver host (server).
In this thesis two substations were selected (Hamam Al-aleel and Adaia) as
senders. Figure 4. 6 shows the sender program (Front Panel) of the Adaia
substation.
