10 NUMSKULL
MULTI FORMAT
STEERING WHEEL
Whether racing on PC,
PS3, PS4 or Xbox One,
budding petrolheads
can get up to speed with
Numskull’s multiformat
wheel, which includes
a dinky set of pressure-
sensitive pedals and
behind-wheel gear shifters
too. It’s adjustable, so you
can tweak the sensitivity
or swap the buttons for
games that demand a

6 QUARTER
ARCADES
DIG DUG
The authentic arcade
experience at home,
although it’s probably a bit
smaller than you remember
it. Quarter Arcades’
mini-machines do a
beautiful job of replicating
old-school arcades, with
everything from the game
itself to the artwork on the
cabinet spot on, and they
include an internal battery
so they’re far more
portable than the real thing.

7 XBOX SERIES X
Pulling in PC-quality
components and leaning
heavily on a high-speed
SSD to improve load
times and create a more
seamless experience,
Microsoft’s latest is a
true next-gen console.
It’s the philosophy that
wins here: the company’s
Game Pass is a stupendous
deal, offering up a wide
selection of even the latest
games for a remarkably
reasonable monthly
subscription.

9 SONY PS5
In terms of raw specs,
the PS5 doesn’t differ all
that much from the Xbox
Series X; it maybe has a
slightly slower GPU, but
a slightly faster SSD – not
that you’d notice though,
because this is a modern
console with blistering
performance and the
potential for 8K output
in the future. The hook
here is Sony’s strong
exclusives, including an
exciting return to the
Spider-Man universe.

8 OCULUS
QUEST 2
There has never been a
better time to get into
VR. This is lighter than
its predecessor, it has
better screens, better
sound, and (somehow)
it’s cheaper, too. If you’re
tired of cavorting around
in its large selection of
wire-free room-scale
games, you can also hook
the Quest 2 up to your PC
to explore some high-
end environments. An
all-round winner.
