The country’s

WHERE
HOW MUC s up o you!
WHY IT’S COOL You won’t be able to pipe down about this spot. Located in a public park, the no-frills
lodge includes three concrete drainage pipes that have been converted into hotel rooms. Open from May
to October, each seven-foot-wide tube offers just the essentials: a bed and a lamp.
Upon arriving, you’ll get a code that unlocks the door to your concrete crash pad. Store your bags
under the bed and climb onto the super-comfy mattress. Then gaze at the stars through a window built
into the top of the tube as you drift off to sleep.
Wake up to the sounds of a gurgling creek running through a park, where a pavilion serves up food. A
bathroom—also made from a pipe—is stationed nearby. The best part? When you leave, you choose how
much to pay for your stay. Talk about a well-rounded experience!
