The greatest common factor (GCF) of two or more numbers
is the greatest number that is a factor of all of the numbers.

Find the greatest common factor of 8, 12, and 20.

To find the GCF:

List all the factors 0 8: 1 , 2 , 4 , 8
of each number. 12: 1 , 2 , 3, 4 , 6, 12
20: 1 , 2 , 4 , 5, 10, 20
