has equal sides and angles.


POLYNOMIAL an expression with multiple terms


Example: x^2    +   2x  +   9

POSITIVE a number greater than 0


PRIME (NUMBER) an integer greater than 1 that is divisible only by 1 and itself Example: 2, 3,
5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19...


Note:   0   and 1   are not prime   numbers.

PROBABILITY

Example:    When    playing a   dice    game,   the probability of  rolling a   6   is  .

PRODUCT the result of multiplication


Example:    The product of  5   and 7   is  35.

PROFIT in word problems, the amount someone or something makes after costs have been
subtracted Example: If John buys widgets for $100 and sells them for $150, his profit is $50.
