  1. (E) An acid salt contains one or more H atoms in the salt formula
    separating a positive ion and the hydrogen-bearing negative ion. For
    example, Na 2 SO 4 is a normal salt and NaHSO 4 is an acid salt because of the


presence of H in the hydrogen sulfate ion. In Ca(HCO 3 ) 2 , the same is true.


This is classified as an acid salt.
