    according to Le Châtelier’s Principle the equilibrium will shift in the
    direction to reduce this disturbance, so the Ksp will remain the same but salt
    will come out of solution. This process:


AgCl Ag+ + Cl−

will continue until the Ksp is reestablished. This phenomenon is called
the “common ion effect.”
