Domino Dozen
A game designed to build the concept
of joining sets

Materials:
Q^ Set of Double-Six Dominoes

Directions:

  1. Place dominoes face down so that dots cannot be seen.
To start the game, fl ip one domino at random.

  2. The fi rst player fl ips a domino and joins the sets of
    dots on both dominoes.

  3. If the total number of dots is a dozen (twelve), the

is not a dozen, the player leaves the dominoes face up.

  4. The second player fl ips one domino and looks for any
face-up domino that could be combined with her
domino to make a dozen dots. If a combination of
twelve can be made, the player takes the dominoes.
If a combination of twelve cannot be made the player
    leaves the dominoes face up.

  5. Play continues until all dominoes have been fl ipped over.

  6. The winner is the player with the most dominoes.
