Development Training

The ANSP outsources the development training of non-operational staff. These courses/workshops
are led by professional institutions and experienced instructors.

These include but are not limited to:

 EUROCONTROL, Institute of Air Navigation

Services (IANS)

 International Air Transport Association

(IATA)

 Joint Aviation Authority (JAA)

 Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA)

 Cyprus Academy of Public Administarion

Recurrent Training

Recurrent training is scheduled training at established intervals that has been identified as required
training, by the Heads of Sections/Units at the annual CyANS management system review meeting,
in order to maintain position currency. Should the need for such training arise, this type of courses
will be included in the annual training plan, the drafting of which is described in section 8.5 of the
Management System Manual.
