DEVELOPER Don Peebles (in-
set) and his wife Katrina are selling
their Coral Gables, Fla., estate for
$14.9 million. The Mediterranean-
style, gated property is known as Casa
Arboles, or The House of Trees — thanks to a canopy
of 88 oak trees — at 11501 Cutler Road. The sale in-
cludes membership to
Peebles’ historic Bath
Club. His 10-bedroom
home is 15,688 square
feet and was renovated
by Ramon Pacheco and
updated by KLP Interi-
ors. The brokers are

God, just bought a $2.8 million
landmarked Brooklyn brown-
stone. It was a pandemic buy,
Yee told Gimme. “I’m always
working and traveling, but
during the pandemic I fi-
nally had the time to look
for a home.” The late-19th-
century, 21-foot-wide home
is on MacDonough Street in
Bedford-Stuyvesant. It was
originally asking $3.2 million
last June. At 4,000 square
feet, the brownstone fea-
tures seven bedrooms and
3½ bathrooms. Original de-
tails include floor-to-ceil-
ing windows, 12-foot ceil-
ings on the parlor floor, six
marble fireplaces, lattice
bordered hardwood floors
and the original staircase
and pocket doors. There’s

IT may seem odd that journalist Judith
Miller (inset) lives in the landmarked
Police Building — given that she was
jailed for 85 days in 2005 for contempt of
court, after refusing to reveal her confi-
dential source to a
grand jury investigat-
ing the leaking of a
covert CIA officer Va-
lerie Plame. Now Mil-
ler, 72, and her hus-
band, New York Re-
view of Books co-
founder Jason Ep-
stein, 92, have listed
their fifth-floor unit at

also a 27-foot front yard and a
40-foot backyard filled with a
custom pergola, blue stone
pavers and irrigated landscap-
ing. This is Yee’s third real es-
tate purchase in Brooklyn in
seven years — all with the
help of Brooklyn broker Sara
Golan of Nest Seekers. The
first purchase was a two-
family Bed-Stuy brown-
stone where she lives on
the top two floors and
rents out the rest. She
then bought an invest-
ment condo in Williamsburg
at the Austin Nichols House
for $800,000 that she rents.
Yee, 44, told Gimme that she
is on a mission to encourage
more women to buy real es-
tate on their own. “There is
nothing more empowering
than owning real estate,”
Yee said. She’s also launch-
ing a new streaming show,
“Established with Angela
Yee” on Fox Soul.
