- Forward-facing color binocular vision was useful for human ancestors who swung by
their arms from one branch to another. Recent studies suggest this type of vision was
more useful in courtship. What other groups of animals might vision also be important
in courtship? - Thousands of primates are used every year around the world in scientific experiments
because of their psychological and physiological similarity to humans. What kinds of
