  1.          For this    set of  data,    and    s = 2.0.    Examination of  the 25  points  in  the dataset yields  the following.



The actual  values  in  the dataset (16,    25, 25) are quite   close   to  the expected    values  (17,    23.8,   24.9)   if
this truly were data from a normal population. Hence, it seems reasonable that the data could have
been a random sample drawn from a population that is approximately normally distributed.
