Storm sorcerers are invaluable m e mbe rs of a ship's
c rew. Their magic allows the m to exert control over
wind and weathe r in the ir immedia te a rea. The ir abili-
ties a lso prove useful in repelling attacks by sahuagin,
pirates, and othe r waterborne threats.

WIND SPEAKER
The a rcane magic you command is infused with e le-
me ntal ai r. You can s peak, read, and write Primordial.
Knowing this la nguage allows you to understand and
be understood by those w ho s peak its di a lects: Aquan,
Auran, Igna n , and Terra n.


TEMPESTUOUS MAGIC
Starting at 1 st level, you can use a bonus action on your
turn to cause whirling gus ts of e lemental a ir to briefly
surround you, immediately before or afte r you cast a
s pell of 1st level or hi g her. Doing so allows you to fly up
to 10 feet without provoking opportunity a ttacks.


HEART OF THE STORM
At 6th le ve l, you gain resistance to lig htning and thunder
damage. In addition , w he never you start casting a spell
of 1s t level or highe r tha t deals lightning or thunder
d a m age, stormy magic erupts from you. This eruption
causes c reatures of your choice that you can see within
10 feet of you to take lightning or thunde r damage
(choose e ac h time this ability activates) equal to ha lf
your sorcerer level.

STORM GUIDE
At 6th level, you gain the ability to s ubtly control the
weathe r around you.
If it is raining, you can use an action to cause the rain
to stop falling in a 20-foot-ra dius sphere cente red o n
you. You can e nd this effect as a bonus action.
If it is windy, you can use a bonus action each
round to c hoose the direction that the w ind blows in a
100 -foot-radius sphe re cente re d on you. The wind blows
in that direc tion until th e end of your next turn. This fea-
ture doesn't alter the speed of t he wind.

STORM' S FURY
Starting at 1 4th level, when you are hit by a me lee at-
tack, you can use your reacti o n to deal lightning damage
to the attacker. The damage equa ls your sorcere r l evel.
The attacke r must a lso make a Strength saving throw
against your sorcere r spell save DC. On a failed save,
the attacke r is pus he d in a s traight line up to 2 0 feet
away from you.

WIND SOUL
At 18th level, you gain immunity to lightning and thun-
der damage.
You also gain a m agical flying speed of 60 feet. As a n
action, you can reduce your flying speed to 30 feet for 1
hour and choose a numbe r of creatures within 30 feet
of you equal to 3 + your Ch a ris ma modifie r. The chosen
creatures gain a magical flying speed of 30 feet for 1
hour. Once you reduce your flying speed in this way, you
can't do so again until you finis h a short o r long rest.
