A cloud service that uses public and private clouds, as well as

A web-based application that runs on a remote server, hosted in
the cloud. The same as Software as a Service.
Simply a service that’s designed to house mobile data storage
for an individual or business.

depending on the demand to its servers.

services. The likes of Skype, Facebook and Twitter come under
the CAAS heading.
