SETTING A NEW STANDARD

It’s easy to see benchmarks or battery
estimations from Apple or technology blogs and
feel compelled to upgrade to a new Mac right
now, and the truth is that you’d be wise to do so.

As Apple takes the next leap forward in the
world of Mac, its Intel-based devices will soon
become obsolete, though the company
has promised it will support them for the
foreseeable. Developers are already reporting
significant speed and performance boosts
from previous-generation Macs, and if you’re
passionate about efficiency and getting the job
done, you won’t go wrong making the switch.
Those looking for a more advanced computing
experience should hold out for the 2021 or 2022
release of the 16-inch MacBook Pro, the new
iMac which is rumored to feature an all-new
design, or the Mac Pro, which will no doubt
become the world’s fastest and most powerful
consumer computer ever. The real question is:
can you stay patient for Apple’s next Macs, or will
the hype push you to upgrade today?
