Buddy Games
Having fallen out five years earlier, six
longtime friends reunite – at the prompting
of Bob (Josh Duhamel), AKA “the Bobfather”
- for a contest called the Buddy Games, in
which the participants take on various absurd
physical and mental challenges in pursuit of
a $150,000 prize.

- This film is the directorial debut of
Transformers actor Josh Duhamel, who also
wrote and produced Buddy Games. - Duhamel is not entirely new to production
duties, however, as he served as an
executive producer on the 2013 thriller
Scenic Route, in which he also starred. - In Buddy Games, Jensen Ackles has a
cameo role as the character Jack Durfy. - Duhamel has appeared in almost all of the
Michael Bay-directed Transformers films, the
one exception being 2014’s Transformers:
Age of Extinction. - Duhamel was married to the singer Fergie
from 2009 until 2019, when their divorce
was finalized.
