1 st EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES TAEKWONDO
CHAMPIONSHIP
The 1st European Universities Taekwondo Championship was
held in Braga, Portugal. The event was organised by the Por-
tuguese University Sports Federation, the University of Min-
ho and its Students Union from December 10 to 12, 2009. In
this first edition of the championship, 101 participants from
6 European Countries representing 31 universities took part
in the event. The next edition will be organised in Sofia, Bul-
garia in October 2011, as the European Universities Champi-
onships in Taekwondo are to be held biannually.
