3 rd EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP

The City of Lisbon, Portugal was from July 12 and 16, 2006

the venue of the 3rd European University Badminton Champi-

onship. The number of participants increased a lot compared

to the previous year, as more than 150 students from 13

countries responded to the invitation of the University of Lis-

bon and Portuguese University Sports Federation to play at

the championship. The tournament took place at the Univer-

sity of Lisbon Sports Centre. The organisation was on a high

quality level, with a great impact of the work of volunteers.
