1 st EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY FUTSAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The 1st European University Futsal Championship took place

in the coastal City of Paralimni, Cyprus between September

19 and 24, 2004. 12 university teams from ten European

countries participated in the event, which was hosted by the

Cyprus University Sports Federation. The first edition will be

reminded not only by attractive location, but also by very

high level of the event. In the first finals the University Teams

from Novi Sad and Zagreb met. In a very attractive match the

students from Novi Sad won 6:1. The bronze medal went to

the University of Poznan, who won the match for the third

place against the University of Eindhoven with 3:1.
