You should also recall the following important properties about logarithms:



  • logbvw=logbv+logbw

  • logbwv=logbv−logbw

  • logbwn=nlogbw

  • To express a logarithm with base in terms of the natural logarithm: logbw=lnlnwb

  • To express a logarithm with basebin terms of another basea: logbw=loglogaawb
