Here you’ll become familiar with binomial distributions and how they can approximate normal distributions. You’ll
also use binomial distributions to solve for probabilities of events.


Suppose you are conducting an experiment where if a light is turned on, the experiment is a success and if the light
doesn’t turn on, then the experiment is a failure. Is this a binomial experiment? How would you gather the data from
this experiment? How many trials do you think you would need to draw some conclusions from this experiment?
