About the Authors

Claire  Aldridge    received    her bachelor    of  science degree  in  biomedical  science from    Texas   A&M

University. She earned  her PhD from    the Department  of  Immunology  and the University  Program

in  Genetics    at  Duke    University  in  1996.   The author  of  two Kaplan  books,  SAT Subject Test:   Biology

and Microbiology    and Immunology, as  well    as  numerous    scientific  articles,   she is  adjunct faculty

in  the biology department  at  the University  of  North   Texas   in  Denton, Texas.  She lives   in  Dallas,

Texas.

Karl    Lee received    a   bachelor’s  degree  in  chemistry   from    Amherst College,    and earned  an  MA  in

physical    chemistry   from    Harvard University  in  1996.   Until   recently,   he  was Kaplan’s    director    of

pre-health  curriculum.
