Think   about   the three   different   cases.

Case    1,  when    x   ≥   3:

So  all numbers greater than    3   satisfy the inequality, but x   =   3 itself    does    not.

Case    2,  when    0   ≤   x   <   3:

So  nothing between 0   and 3   satisfies   the inequality.

Case    3,  when    x   <   0:

So  all negative    numbers satisfy the inequality, and the complete    solution    set is  {x  :   x   >   3   or  x   <
0}.
