For all right triangles, (leg 1 )^2 + (leg 2 )^2 = (hypotenuse)^2.

Pythagorean triplet: A Pythagorean triplet is a set of integers that fit the
Pythagorean theorem. The simplest Pythagorean triplet is (3, 4, 5). In fact, any
integers in a 3:4:5 ratio make up a Pythagorean triplet. And there are many
other Pythagorean triplets: (5, 12, 13); (7, 24, 25); (8, 15, 17); (9, 40, 41); all their
multiples; and infinitely many more.
