questions you missed. Here’s how you should proceed based on your
Diagnostic Test score.

DON’T BE FOOLED BY DISGUISES

Sometimes   what    looks   like    a   trigonometry    question    turns   out to  be

primarily   an  algebra question.

2: Superb! You’re already good enough with trigonometry for Math 1. If you’re
on the Shortcut Plan, you might consider skipping this chapter. Or, if you
want, you could just go straight to the Follow-Up Test at the end of the
chapter.

1: Good. You’re probably already good enough with trigonometry for the Math
1 test. If you’re on the Shortcut Plan, you might consider skipping this
chapter. But you should at least look at the part of this chapter that discusses
the question you did not get right. Then, if you want, you could just go straight
to the Follow-Up Test at the end of the chapter.

0: Trigonometry may be a problem area for you, so you’d better spend some
time with this chapter unless you’re on the Panic Plan.
