Trigonometry Test Topics
For Math 1, there’s not a whole lot you have to remember about trigonometry.
All you really need to know about is the sine, cosine, and tangent of acute
angles measured in degrees and a few basic trigonometric identities. We’ll use
the questions from the Diagnostic Test to review these basic topics.
RIGHT TRIANGLES AND SOHCAHTOA
To remember the definitions of sine, cosine, and tangent as they apply to right
triangles, use the mnemonic SOHCAHTOA. That and a calculator are all you
need to answer Example 1.
