Welcome back!
I hadn’t stitched in about 20 years, but then
I picked up a copy of Crazy and was inspired
to start again! Thank you for that. I bought
a beginner’s kit from Amazon to get me going.
Here are some of my recent creations! I took
out a subscription to your magazine straight
away, as I love the style of it. You have such
fresh designs, and I especially love the Celeb
stitch page. Honestly, I can’t thank you enough
for getting me back into stitching. I got the
latest issue in the post and have
already started the kit. I love it!
Fiona Donaghy, County Tyrone
Katie says: It means so much to
the team that Crazy inspired you
to start stitching again, Fiona! And
from what we can see of your recent
projects, it looks like you’ve picked it
back up with no problem at all.

Pirate’s life
As soon as issue 256 dropped
through my door, I knew I had
to stitch this little pirate ship!
My daughter, who’s just turned
eight, is fairly sure that she’s
a swashbuckling pirate herself.
I finished it last night and I’m
planning on sticking it onto the
front of a notebook so she can
record all of her adventures.
Grace Worthington, Bath
Alison says: What a brilliant
idea, Grace. Your daughter is
sure to love her new journal!
Fan favourite
I stitched this for a friend
of mine. It took me two
months, tr ying to grab free
time here and there while
watching my two kids.
Stitching is what I like to do
to relax – without it, I’d go
nuts! My friend loved it and
recognised him instantly.
Thanks, Crazy!
Emily Sitch, Warickshire
Lou says: I stitch in order to
relax as well, Emily! You’ve
done such a fab job of
stitching Idris’ portrait. I bet your
friend was over the moon when you gave her this handsome finish.
Heather, our charting editor, was also thrilled to see this project. She
creates all of our Celeb stitches and is always happy to see them
stitched up. You can find out more about what Heather gets up to
behind the scenes at Crazy on page 60.
A helping paw
This is Nigel the puma. He retired to Lincolnshire
Wildlife Park due to his poor eyesight. The park has
been raising money to build him a sensory house,
as they want him to be as comfortable as possible.
So, me being me, I wanted to do something to
help raise awareness. I got permission to use this
picture and an amazing lady named Donna Glover
converted it into a chart for me. I spent the next
nine months completing this stitch and I’m so
proud of it. It’s the biggest project I’ve ever done!
Debbie Framingham, Sleaford
Emily says: Well done on stitching this brilliant
design for such a good cause, Debbie.
