Together forever
This is one of my favourite projects! Last
year, my partner, Beth, told me that for her
birthday she just wanted to spend more time
together. We both live hectic lives, so quality
time can be difficult to come by. I thought the
sentiment behind this project would give us
both something to look forward to!
Sam Hill, Bridgend
Alison says: What a beautiful finish, Sam!

Meant to be
As soon as I saw the gorgeous mermaid designs
by Cher yl McKinnon in issue 251, I knew I had to
stitch one for my mum! I finished this just in time
for Mother’s Day – phew! I’m glad to say that she
loved it. I used some threads I had in my stash, so
there were a few colour changes here and there.
I think I’m going to make myself one next. Thank
you for these stunning designs, Crazy!
Emma Corbett, Tamworth
Alison says: I love the colours you chose for this,
Emma! They’re so bright and cheery, and the
frame is so cute. I’m not surprised that your mum
enjoyed her stitchy gift. It’s just wonderful!

Easter

delights
I recently subscribed
to Crazy and
I wanted to show
you the first-ever
project that I’ve
completed since
subscribing. It’s the
chick and rabbit from
Lesley Teare’s Take your pick
projects in issue 253.
I absolutely love your
magazine, Crazy!
Martine Cole, Worle
Katie says: And
we absolutely love
your first project,
Martine! The cute
gingham ribbon that
you used to hang
the hoops looks so
charming. Thank you
so much for sharing
your finish with us – we can’t wait
to see what wonderful thing you
make next. And we’re so glad you’ve
joined the Crazy stitching community.
Welcome to the gang!

Growing family
I made this for my mum for Mother’s Day. I’m nine
months pregnant and it kept me nice and busy
during early maternity leave! It’s the names of all
her grandchildren, in age order. Cain is the soon-
to-be addition. Thanks for all the inspiration from
previous issues. I always keep them in my design
librar y. I really enjoy stitching the small motifs!
Jade Arnott, Hertfordshire
Emily says: Congratulations on the new arrival,
Jade! Your stitch is a wonderful way to celebrate
your mum becoming a grandmother again.
I love all the fun little motifs next to each of the
grandchildren’s names, too. Your mum must have
been so pleased when she recieved this, and I bet
she can’t wait to meet her new grandchild. Good
luck with everything, Jade!

Beary good stitch!

I turned my teddy bear gift tags from issue
253 into this cute bookmark using an offcut
of aida from my stash. I’m going to stitch
another one of the bears as a keyring as
well. My bookmark is currently in a book I’m
reading and the keyring is still in the to-be-
stitched ideas pile for the moment.
Debbie Dunn, Barton-upon-Humber

Lou says: Brilliant adaptation, Debbie! The
light blue felt that you used to back your
bookmark matches the bears perfectly.
You’ve inspired me to stitch my own
bookmark or keyring now!

S Simba the kitten
wanted to help show
off this cute project!

S This is Martine’s
first project since
subscribing to Crazy!

T Jade stitched this for
her mum to celebrate
her latest grandchild!

S Emma stitched this for her mum and
now she’s stitching another for herself!

from issue 253 into this
adorable bookmark
