N
ormally, you’d be
more likely to find
a majestic dragon
like this guarding
a gleaming pile of treasure,
but this fairy-tale creature has
flown in to add a touch of magic
to your home. From its roaring
flames down to the spikes on
its tail, this fantastical beast is
cleverly stitched using swirls of
backstitch, created in the style
of quilling – the curling of paper
strips to decorate a surface. The
dragon’s finished size makes
it perfect for displaying as
a hoop or hanging in a favourite
cosy reading corner or in a mini
adventurer’s bedroom. ●
