Choosing a complementary colour, make or buy a pom-
pom that has a 4cm diameter. Attach it to your tassel string
and then tie a knot to secure it in place.

3

Pin a loop of thin ribbon to the front of your stitching, at
the top of your stitched design. Make sure the ends of the
ribbon are pointing outwards, away from the heart.

4

With right sides facing, sew together with a panel of felt
following the outline of the design. Leave the point of the
heart open for turning and inserting your pom-pom tassel.

5

Cut away any excess fabric, turn through the right way and
then partially stuff. Insert the ends of your tassel string
and then finish adding the remaining stuffing.

6

Stitch up the gap using slip or ladder stitch, making sure
you secure the tassel string in place as you go. Insert your
clip into the ribbon loop and your fab new charm is ready!
