poraries, with connections to him noted, covers 1,400 persons. Author and

First issued as part of the Mozart Jahrbuch 1975;then as a separate publica-
tion, each covering a five-year period of writings (four years in the latest vol-
ume). More than 14,000 books and articles are included, in author order, with
full bibliographic data but without annotations. The 1992–1995 bibliography
(published 1998) has 3,947 entries. Index of persons, places, topics, and works.
Prior to the Angermüller series, bibliographies had been issued in volumes
of the Mozart Jahrbuch. Rudolf Elvers and Géza Rech compiled the first one,
covering 1945–1950 for the 1951 volume. (Elvers noted that there had been
no Mozart bibliographies published since 1930.)
