added title page: ll nuovo Vogel. IOM0439 has a detailed account of the first
edition and supplements. Duckles5.605 describes the new one. This a basic
source of data on vocal music, including operas, arranged by composer; biblio-
graphic information is given, with library locations. Indexes for composers not
cited on the titles pages, poets, singers and others mentioned, and first lines. A
review of the work, by Howard Mayer Brown (JAMS36 [1983]:142–150)
